Ice Storm Update 2: Monday, March 31, 2025 - 4PM
The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula continues to respond to the impacts of the recent ice storm. We appreciate your continued patience and support as crews work to clear debris and restore services.
Our Public Works Staff are finished for the day and headed home for a well deserved rest. They will continue to work at cleaning up debris from the storm tomorrow and over the coming days.
Although many areas are now opened, others remain barricaded off:
- Don't drive around barricades!
- Don't drive over wires or move them - always assume wires are live!
Community Support Locations:
These facilities will be open again tomorrow from 8am to 4pm for public use:
Showers will be available at Lion's Head Arena during operating hours.
Carbon Monoxide Safety:
With increased generator and alternate heat source use, please remember:
- Never run a generator indoors or in enclosed spaces like garages.
- Ensure carbon monoxide detectors are working properly.
