Municipal Facilities

The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula has a number of facilities, parks and trails available for public use. Details about each facility are included on this page. To request or inquire about renting, please use the button below to fill out the Rental Application Form.

2928 Highway 6, Lion's Head

Ferndale Information Centre

The Ferndale Information Centre is a fully accessible facility, offering public washrooms, Wi-Fi access and a 15-person meeting room which is available to rent. This building provides tourist information and is currently home to a satellite Ontario Provincial Police office and the Bruce Peninsula Tourist Association.

Outside, the facility offers ample free parking, a playground, picnic tables and shelter (with hydro and water available).

Phillip Forbes Street, Lion's Head

Lion's Head Beach Pavilion

The Lion's Head Beach Pavilion offers washrooms, playground, picnic tables and a pavilion. The pavilion (30' x 21') offers water and hydro.

Lion's Head & District Community Centre & Arena

The Lion's Head Community Centre and Arena offers an 85' by 185' ice surface from late September to late March. The facility also offers hall rentals year-round in the upstairs auditorium (capacity 212) and on the arena floor in the summer months (capacity 825). The facility includes a full kitchen, bar area, access to tables and chairs, washrooms, free Wi-Fi, and lots of parking on-site.

Lion's Head Friendship Club

The Friendship Club offers year-round hall rentals with a capacity of 107. This facility offers a full kitchen, table and chairs, with lots of parking on-site.

59 Main Street, Lion's Head

Lion's Head Rotary Hall

The Lion's Head Rotary Hall offers a rental hall with a capacity for 130 persons (with the loft). This venue has a stage area, tables and chairs, and a licenced bar (through the Rotary Club). The facility space is 34' by 35'.

Stokes Bay Community Centre

The Stokes Bay Community Centre offers year round hall rentals with a capacity for 115. The facility offers a full kitchen, tables and chairs. The main space is 23' x 40', while the East room is 20' x 23'. Outside, this facility offers a picnic shelter, playground area, green space and parking.

Tobermory Community Centre

Tobermory Community Centre offers year round hall rentals for a capacity of 357. The facility offers a stage area, full kitchen, separate bar area, accessible washrooms, as well as tables and chairs. The site also offers ample parking. The main hall is 84' x 51'.

Tobermory Municipal Airport

Tobermory Municipal Airport

Tobermory Municipal Airport is located on Warner Bay Road just west of Highway 6. With a runway that is 3,100 feet in length and 75 feet in width. The site offers indoor and outdoor tie downs, automatic operating runway lights, fuel sales. There is no winter maintenance at this facility.

Tobermory Pavilion

The Tobermory Pavilion offers a picnic tables, benches, a pavilion (30' x 24') and close proximity to the dog park, community gardens, outdoor fitness equipment and skate park.
